frequently asked questions.

wait... what exactly do you do?

Short answer? I help small businesses stop blending in online.

Longer answer? I create scroll-stopping videos, clean + natural photography, and content strategies that actually reflect your brand. Think: vibe-forward storytelling that doesn’t feel forced, cringe, or like it came from someone who thinks hashtags are a personality trait. I’ve got a background in training, marketing, and a creative eye—but Sagemist is where I get to pull all that together and make things look good and work. Whether you need a promo video, fresh photos, or help figuring out what to post without rage-quitting Instagram… I got you.

what if I’m awkward in front of a camera?

First of all—same. Second of all—don’t worry, I specialize in making real people look and feel like their best selves without forcing the fake influencer energy.

I keep things super laid-back, give you direction as we go (so you’re not just standing there wondering what to do with your hands), and honestly? Half the time, people end up forgetting the camera’s even there. We laugh, we get good angles, and I promise you’ll leave saying, “Wait… that was actually fun?”

do you offer social media help too, or just make videos?

Both. And then some.

If you already know what kind of content you need, I’ll help you create it. If you don’t know what you need (because lol, fair), I can help you figure it out—and even guide you on how to use it without hating your life. We’re talking: content strategy, caption ideas, posting plans, and how to stop ghosting your audience after one Reel. Basically, I’m your behind-the-scenes creative sidekick.

can you help my business even if I’m not local?

Yep! While I’m based in Salmon, Idaho (aka the land of mountains, coffee, and a whole lotta dogs), I’ve got options for non-locals too.

Depending on what you need, we can meet virtually for strategy, creative direction, or coaching. And if you’re out of town but want a shoot, I do travel—just know there may be some mileage fees and possibly a snack tax. (I will absolutely consider accepting payment in gas station Diet Dr Peppers.)

how much does it cost?

It depends on what you need, but here’s the thing: I’m not the “$50 for 1,000 photos and 12 TikToks” type—and I don’t think you want me to be.

My pricing is built around real value, custom strategy, and work that actually makes your business better. Once I know what you’re looking for, I’ll give you a clear quote—no surprises, no weird hidden fees, and definitely no confusing corporate invoices that require a decoder ring. Just straightforward, honest pricing for work I’m proud to put my name on.
